Activités sur notre camping 4 étoiles à Saumur

Dégustations de vin et activités sportives

For children, the Isle Verte campsite has trampolines and a homeball pitch for football and handball.

There are also petanque courts, table tennis, an outdoor fitness area and a tennis court.

In July and August we also offer visits to the Domaine de la Perruche, wine tastings and whip sales on the campsite, as well as a weekly market with local producers. Once a week, our popular Guinguette evenings are an opportunity to enjoy a traditional meal to the sound of live music.

Loire Valley wines on the menu

Taste Anjou wines in the restaurant at camping l'Isle Verte

Our campsite in Montsoreau is in the heart of the Saumur and Anjou vineyards. From the campsite, you can walk or cycle to several wineries where you can taste their wines. The menu at the campsite restaurant includes bottles from all the winegrowers between Saumur and Montsoreau. We’ve taken particular care in selecting these bottles to give you a panoramic view of the wines of Anjou and Saumur.

Nature and heritage around your campsite in Saumur

Camping l’Isle Verte in Montsoreau nestles in a region of rare cultural richness. Around Montsoreau and Saumur, be sure to discover the troglodytic dwellings carved out of the tufa stone on the slopes beside the Loire, as well as the superb cellars that run several kilometres underground in the region, such as the Ackerman cellar in Saumur. The white tufa stone has given its identity to the buildings around Montsoreau, such as the splendid Fontevraud Abbey where Richard the Lionheart is buried. A must-see for any stay in Saumur is the Cadre Noir and its equestrian shows. Children will love Doué la Fontaine Zoo, where animals from all over the world live in old stone quarries.
