A campsite in the heart of the Saumur - Champigny vineyards

Between Tours and Saumur, the village of Montsoreau is located in the heart of the Saumur – Champigny appellation. On the banks of the Loire, vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see over the villages of Montsoreau, Parnay, Turquant, etc. Here, the king grape varieties are Chenin and Cabernet – Franc. The vines that have grown on the tufa soil dug out of troglodytic caves produce white, red and rosé wines as well as Crémant de Saumur. To guide you in your discovery of the Saumur – Champigny vineyards, the Isle Verte campsite has selected 12 winegrowers. We have chosen them for the quality of their wines, of course, but also for their sense of welcome. On these 12 estates around Montsoreau and Saumur, you will be welcomed by passionate winegrowers who will be happy to share their love of their region and their profession with you.

To help you discover the Saumur – Champigny vineyard, we decided to give the floor to its best ambassadors, the wine growers. We therefore went to interview 13 winegrowers from the vineyards that stretch along the banks of the Loire around Montsoreau. They tell us about their estate and present us, one by one, the bottles that you will find on the menu of the restaurant and the wine bar of the campsite Isle Verte.
